Together, Herb & Ana created Remain Youth Project to build a centered on belonging, purpose, culture, and hope.
Herb, born and raised in Tāmaki with Tongan roots, brings years of experience as a sports chaplain and youth mentor. Known for making every young person feel seen and valued, his passion is creating spaces where rangatahi can grow.
Ana is the steady power and "culture carrier" of the vision. With a gift for hospitality and nurturing environments, she ensures Remain stays grounded, warm, and whānau-centered. Alongside serving on the Point England School Board of Trustees, she is a fierce advocate for social justice.
Their shared belief is simple but powerful: when young people are surrounded by consistent love, opportunity, and community, they rise.
